WE THOUGHT IT WAS THE EIGHTH INNING « The Burning Platform

I've been waiting for an appropriate post to remind about the risk in Europe after Merkel's re-election. TPTP pulled out all the stops to maintain status quo until the German election. This Spring will bring the prols out of their hovels to demonstrate en masse, which will be met by an authoritarian police state which has run out of goodies to give away.

Since the US and Chinese Central Banks have backed all of the other central banks on the planet, QE will continue until January 1, 2017, by then we'll either be embroiled in a world war, or a police state crackdown in the US. Of course, trillions of dollars buys a lot of space, but since the systemic causes of the 2008 financial crisis haven't been addressed, malinvestment will continue, while the mathematically certain insolvency of social security and medicare are conveniently ignored, until the system collapses in one dysfunctional dystopian nightmare.

Our handlers are convinced the solution is one world government and a global currency. I'm sure that will fix everything, as if central planning ever fixed anything. The correct solution is decentralization, albeit a strong national defense is necessary.

One need only look to the Preamble of the United States Constitution to see what is necessary for sound governance. Wealth inequality being an antithesis to the principles upon which this country was founded. One need only look to the first ten amendments to adopt guiding principles by which to downsize the federal workforce, and check the unprecedented growth of federal and multi-national corporate control of the Gross Domestic Product.

We don't need UN Agenda 21 and the Trans Pacific Partnership in order to "form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, [and } insure domestic Tranquility". What we need are "We the People of the United States", to stand up and oppose the entrenched interests in the Federal Government and multi-national corporations. What we need are Tea Party Conservatives in national office, who will oppose the established traitorous leadership in the House and Senate. If not in 2014, then when? If not at the polls, where? If not us, who?

I don't believe it's too late to stand up for right, reason and sensibility.

Veterans take it in the shorts again

FLD, you are right on about broken promises, as well as the rest of what you've written, esp. redistribution to the top of the food chain while leaving subsistence rations for the rest.

The war of northern aggression led by the war criminal Lincoln consolidated power in Washington, DC. Next came the federal reserve act of 1913, and the sixteenth amendment of the same year establishing the income tax and hear we are 100 years later suffering what some will argue is the Greatest Recession, and potentially the Greater Depression.

The Affordable Care Act being upheld by John Roberts and his esteemed colleagues as not a tax, but fines being collected by the IRS, may go down like the Hindenburg. What else is it likely to take with it. Those at the top, the 1/10th of 1 percent of society have their life rafts, so do the 4th and 5th generation federal bureaucrats.

What were we talking about? Oh, yeah! Cuts in benefits. Pragmatically, the budget and federal obligations must be cut without exception. This is neither the beginning nor the end. There are $220T in unfunded federal obligations. I'm just waiting for the real cuts, which may not happen except as an emergency measure in response to, perhaps the crash of the dollar. Either way, the federal government will default on it's obligations. The alternative is US global hegemony where the dollar is accepted universally at the point of a gun, which is the current stalemate in the ME over petro dollars and gas pipelines. Another possibility is a global currency, which isn't likely given the debt status of nearly every major industrialized nation. To whom do these countries owe all this money? I think it's been researched, and it's about 10 families and around 400 individuals. Perhaps it's time to redistribute some of their wealth.

The bottom line is if man was able to save himself, Jesus Christ would need not have died on the cross. If it was possible to get ourselves out of this mess with good works and intentions, we wouldn't be in it. There have been many good men who have fought the good fight. It is only by belief in the truth of God's Word, confess Jesus as Lord and believe God raised him from the dead, that we are saved. When we stand together, the world may go up in flames around us, we know are not alone. "For he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." (1 John 4:4b, ESV)

The Constitution of the United States upholds the rights of the individual against those of the state, especially the bill of rights. The preamble to the Constitution defines the legitimate role of government, and it is such that every representative of the federal government is sworn to uphold. Perhaps, "so help me god" should be replaced with "on pain of death", but I will let God be their judge, as he is the judge of all.

WAR ON CHRISTMAS « The Burning Platform

Christmas sucks! It's essentially a pagan celebration of the winter solstice brought about by the Romans in the 3rd century at the Council of Nicea as a compromise between christianity and paganism to establish a state religion. It's where we get the doctrine of the trinity, christmas, the celebration of the winter solstice, and easter, spring fertility rites.

Jesus was born Sept 11, 3 BC, we know this from the astronomical conjuction of the five visible planets in that year, the sign which the wise men of Egypt saw two years before they arrived in Jerusalem. This is the time of year shepherds would have been in their fields tending flocks, not Decemember.

September 11, quite a coincidence, eh? Given that the end of the year is a time of family get togethers for many, the ministry I've supported for over 20 years which was founded in the 1960's by a wonderful man of god, simply uses the phrase Happy Holidays, which conveys the same meaning without the pagan observance.

Do my kids still get gifts, yes, and we still decorate. I'm not an asshole, well, anyway, and I'm thankful the kids are old enough not to believe in fairy tales like Satan Claus and the easter bunny. Bunnies don't lay eggs. We talk about what God says in his word in our household, the truth. Not a bunch of made up bullshit from mainstream religion and perpetuated by the media.

It's a bit ironic that this athiest hates a pagan holiday. Besides that, the first amendment is not a freedom from religion amendment, it's freedom of religion.

This Spring we'll talk more about what day was Jesus Christ crucified on the cross. It wasn't good Friday.

Here Comes the SUN! « The Burning Platform

You lost me in the second paragraph with the arbitrary capitalization. Capitalism is still non-authoritative.  I'm going to go back and read the the rest, but one thing at a time.

I will have to say, too, that making capitalized words bolded, doesn't improve the flaw.

Still reading....

Good luck with the project. Sustainability is a term that will become the latest buzz word as it moves into mainstream terminology. Dmitry Orlov over at Club Orlov has been writing about communities that abide. I haven't bought into the concept, because, while everyone will recognize the importance of sustainability, a population event is going to need to occur before it becomes a reality. Detroit is currently growing their own food in the abandoned inner city. You may have written about that. I know I read it in a couple of places. Sustainable anything isn't going to happen until it's a necessity.

You're correct, the Greater Depression will potentially have more serious consequences than the 30's as the US "reverts to the mean," but the mean of what? First world countries? Or, are first world countries going to revert to the mean between 1st and 2nd world countries. Either way, the US is still better off than the rest of the world, until it isn't. There will always be the downward pressure of reversion, however, the US will be able to perpetually avoid the plagues of the rest of the world, unless we're invaded, or taken over by a police state. You see where the pressure is coming from.

What is the capacity of the earth to sustain life? I'll stop there, but sustainability will need to come from communities which band together, with the family unit at the core. Something Satan and our own government seem dead set against.

I will say this, too, that the USCON is the best legal instrument by which to effect liberty, which should be the goal of sustainable culture, and it is this document which those who serve and have served in the US military, and those who are elected to national office, have sworn to uphold and defend. There is also a subversive element within the government, and outside of it, which seek to annul it, the POTUS, current and preceding notwithstanding.

God speed to all.

THE “I” WORD « The Burning Platform

In attempting to provide health care for all, TPTB have only managed to re-distribute it. How's that hope and change working out for you?

In the 60's. the health insurance industry successfully lobbied USCON to give us Medicare, effectively hiding the real cost of cradle to grave care in the federal deficit. When someone paying health care premiums all their lives turned 65, now magically they're the feds responsibility. This kicked the can down the road 50 years.

Now, the health insurance industry has written the ACA, to provide universal health care, subsidized by federal spending, which politicians will use to by votes. Unfortunately for these forward thinkers, the wheels are about to come off the bus, as this redistribution of health care to those who can't pay by raising the premiums of all is about to implode. What was John Roberts thinking, when he said the fine for not buying healthcare wasn't a tax. THE FREAKIN IRS IS COLLECTING IT!!! Because without the fine, no one would buy it. Oh, and corporations are people, too. What do you want on your tombstone? Talk about useful idiots, well, it was GWB who put him there.

The ACA is the noose tightened on the necks of the American people, who above all want their freedom. Will civil disobedience turn into civil unrest? The impact of the internet and the availability of the world's knowledge at one's fingertips, literally in one's hand, can bring about the social change that any reasonable individual would desire. It is convulsing those that would seek to limit it for their own nefarious purpose. At this point, it's only a race to see which arrives first, freedom or tyranny.

THE “I” WORD « The Burning Platform

How has Obama done anything worse than Bush? It was Clinton that enabled, and then Bush that allowed the sub-prime mortgage crisis. 9/11 on Bush's watch, 1 trillion dollar wars, 1 trillion dollar bail out. And famously telling his advisers when reminded of the CONUS, "quit waving that god damned piece of paper in my face!" He was duped by his cabinet into going to war in Iraq over non-existent wmd's.

Laissez-faire capitalism was implemented as unaccountability and recklessness and the tax payers are left holding the bag. Unfucking believable, yet it's happening even now. I wondered where I was during the digital revolution, and I now I know. I was there all along. Individuals are being treated as pawns and chattel by corporations and governments, and mostly being lied to.

Obama has done nothing more or less than any of his predecessors. There is nothing new under the sun. I disagree with his policies, and they will send the economy over the cliff, but only because we were on the edge of it.

I heard this in a Netflix movie recently, "Sometimes a sheep just needs to be pushed through the fence" I thought it was pretty funny, but I can't think of a single sheep that needs to be pushed off a cliff. Funny or not.

I've read all the opinions about how Obama is deliberately attempting to sabotage our economy. I don't give him that much credit. However, those who put him there, and there's no doubt which god is pulling the strings, are the same one's who made sure whether Romney or Obama won, they got what they wanted. That has been the case since Reagan. Reagan talked the talk, but did the opposite. George Read My Lips Herbert Walker Bush, the billionaire, did neither. Clinton sold us out, There has not been a POTUS or candidate since Carter that had any integrity, until Ron Paul.

The opinions about Obama are incorrect, there's something else more sinister and diabolical going on. Those who think they're going to rule in hell, are sadly mistaken, for him whom they serve will as surely destroy them as he would the rest of us, and the world. It is only by the grace of God Almighty, creator of all and the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ that we even exist. I pity the fool who thinks they can bear arms against the almighty. Only one entity has attempted to do so in all of creation, and we see how well that turned out. Let's be mindful of which God we serve. I don't think I'm preaching to the choir, given the token dislikes I get from Zara and friends, although perhaps I am. That would be something, in and of itself. God bless and to him belongs all honor and glory, kingdom without end, amen.

MILLENNIALS WILL BE THE DEATH OF OBAMACARE « The Burning Platform

Once the ACA fails, what will replace it? Single payer medi-care for all? All, that is, except Congress.

When the dollar fails, the feds will nationalize all pensions, private and public, and put everyone on Social Security. Everyone, this is, except Congress.

How else can one fund $228T of unfunded federal obligations. Iceland is shelling out over a billion in mortgage debt forgiveness. One could wipe away all of the debt in the world, and wipe away the wealth of the global elite in one swipe. They are, essentially, growing increasingly wealthy on the interest on the debt of nations, which wasn't the case 8 years ago, but it sure was where we were headed.

I don't blame Obama more than any other POTUS going back to Reagan. They've been willing dupes. Hillary tried to get this health care monstrosity enacted during the first year of Bill Clinton's first term in office. Money, power, and greed have been a driving force since the inception of the federal government, and the pendulum may well have swung as far as it can toward federal power, with the budget being the one and only weapon to stem the tide of overreach.

We've past the point where a balanced budget can be enacted. As Barry Goldwater predicted, interest on the federal debt, federal retirement, and all of the other unfunded obligations will exceed revenue.

There are those who say a balanced budget isn't necessary, that deficits don't matter. Really?

If Americans wanted change, they would have elected Ron Paul. They didn't, and they're reaping what they've sown. It's not unprecedented in the course of human history. One need only read the old testament to see what a stiff necked and rebellious people the nation of Israel were. We may have our own carrying away unto Babylon, not because there is any other country more powerful than the United States, but because we have allowed our nation's leadership to be usurped by the global elite. I don't know that there has been a time in our nation's history where that hasn't been the case. The tools of control have become that much more refined, and we see it's intended result. The destruction of social order, and we know who is the destroyer, the Devil. It's only by the truth of God's word that we might be saved. God save us.
