Political Economics: Disruptive Technology

Just making a point, the date of this post is November 7, 2011

Political Economics: Disruptive TechnologyIf technology is the one thing most likely to change or improve on the near horizon, then it will be in the storage and processing of vast amounts of data. What is critical, as in all things, is how will that technology will be used, for good or evil, for the liberation and betterment of all men, or a tool for dominion over him.

BEND OVER FOR YOUR FUEL INJECTION « The Burning Platform

Chicago, good ideas, all. Unfortunately, none of these will be implemented.

I suppose, at some level, CONUS makes the appearance of attempting to do the right thing. Who am I kidding? No they don’t! The Great Financial Crisis was the result of the secondary mortgage market underwriting loans that should never have been made, distorting the housing market, and enriching originators and Wall Street.

Nothing has been fixed except wealth disparity continues to increase.

Admin makes the same point by stating the price of oil doesn’t impact the .1%, the global elite, nor the 1% who are beholden to them, except it makes their job of squeezing every last vestige of wealth out of our society and transferring it to themselves harder.

My point to you, Stucky, is there’s another force at work, and it’s not God, it’s Satan. Unless and until you recognize the source of the problem, then any attempts rectify it will be ineffective.

Our economic, social, and political systems could work for the benefit of all, but they don’t. Greed has all but guaranteed it’s collapse. It’s what comes after that should be of concern. This system is broken, and will eventually fail given it’s current trajectory. 20 years for the demographics to cause it to fail, a lot less time given the various catalysts at work. We may or may not be past the point of no return, probably not given that any number of black, white, or grey swans are in abeyance until such time that they are needed. A war in the ME would certainly act as a distraction should global finances reach another precipice. In the meantime, the transfer of wealth to the .1% will continue unabated until diminishing returns force a pause.

The other side of this argument, the economic system which the .1% envision doesn’t support a world population anywhere near where we are now.

Where does all of this leave us? If you don’t know or recognize who is the enemy, it’s impossible to defend against or form a counter-offensive.

The global elite aren’t concerned about the price of gas, until they are, then something will be done and not until then. All of the posts, comments, likes and dislikes on this site, notwithstanding.

And just for the record, when Jesus Christ was confronted by the Devil in the wilderness, he didn’t reply with sarcasm or wit, he replied, “It is written”

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7 ESV).

That isn’t bible thumping, it’s a simple statement of the only thing that will be effective in the global fight against tyranny in which we find ourselves. It’s not only enough to believe, but also to act. Taking believing action, and standing fast on the principles and precepts that are in God’s Word are the only counter measure to the wickedness and perverseness that is in the world.

This country was founded on Christian principles, it has taken not quite 275 years to set it on a course of destruction, less than 150 years since the American Civil War.

Lincoln was a lobbyist for the rail road monopolists, who became the industrialists of the turn of the 20th century. CONUS and POTUS buy votes with socialist programs, and SCOTUS seems determined to play along.

I honestly don’t know what else to do except to have faith in God and his power. If anyone has any better suggestions, let’s hear it.

9 Plagues That Are Collapsing Capitalism

9 Plagues That Are Collapsing Capitalism

LL, horsefuckingshit, Capitalism is NOT a pure system, anymore than are free markets.

Capitalism is all about the exploitation of markets and resources. Governance is required to hold business accountable for everything they fuck up, i.e. the environment, people's health, etc.

It's only too bad government failed in their oversight responsibility, and became accomplices.

We will have a choice after a day of reckoning, a society modeled on individual freedom as the founders intended, or a police state. It should be a simple choice; police state = central planning = slavery; decentralization = free markets = accountability = liberty. We know who is in control now. What remains to be seen is how long they can maintain it.

RUSSELL BRAND SPEAKING TRUTH ABOUT BANKER CRIMINALS

RUSSELL BRAND SPEAKING TRUTH ABOUT BANKER CRIMINALS

I find it disturbingly interesting that the British liberals, Labour, were pursuing the same criminal politics as the Frank/Pelosi, et al.

Probably playing catch up when it was realized THIS IS THE BIG ONE! Never in history has a bubble the size of the Great Financial Crisis been concocted, with duplicity occurring unanimously across the spectrum of TPTB, and nothing has been done to reign in the excess. Wealth disparity continues to exponentially increase. When the big taper takes effect, wealth disparity will continue to increase. Offshore trillions will insure it.

What the fuck, is about all I can say. 47% of working age adults employed? Unemployment at a rate not seen since the height of the Depression? Boomers that can't retire and won't free up entry level jobs for 20 somethings? Our society gave up a lot for these boomers. It was a poor investment.

Obama seems poised to finish what Reagan/Bush/Cheney started, the destruction of the American Middle Class. This isn't going to end well. It's also worthwhile to point out the DemocRats were in control of at least one house of CONUS since the end of WWII, when deficits began rising, culminating in Reagan, who, while a proponent of less government, actually allowed spending to increase unrestrained.

Carter was the last, best POTUS this country elected. Ron Paul was an opportunity to have pass the mantle. I weep for my country and fellow man. Not that they deserve much better. No one was forced to draw welfare for generations, or unemployment for years, or disability for life.

Pay people to have kids, what do they do? Pay them not to work...

What difference does it make to the federal bureaucracy, whence the root of it all lies? Government spending has increased more than the rate of inflation, my guess, probably a lot more every year. What good has any of it done? We're basically paying our politicians to sell us out to special interests.

Who is John Galt? Is that you, Jesus?

"Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!" (Revelation 22:20b, ESV)

HIGH WATER MARK HAS PASSED « The Burning Platform

19th agrarian practices aren't going to support the population levels anywhere in the world, but that is sure as shit where we're headed. Either that, or a totalitarian police state. Either way, there's going to be a whole lot less of us around. Mark of the beast?

"But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15b, ESV)

One can analyze and even be successful in this world. Hussman can be 99% right, and still fail! Carl Sagan? FAIL!

"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36, ESV)

"but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal." (Matthew 6:20, ESV)

The world system is a giant casino. Who needs any more proof? It is possible to win, but the odds are dead set against it. More power to you if you're successful and God bless you. If you're not, then at least take comfort in the fact you're not alone, that we are fellow workers with Christ, who died once and for all,

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16, ESV)

What else is there to say, except that if it was within man to save himself, Jesus Christ would need not have died on the cross? The Apostle Peter spake thusly, on the day of Pentecost,

"And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” (Acts 2:40, ESV)

From what are we saved?

"For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thessalonians 5:9, ESV)

"He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!" (Revelation 22:20, ESV)

And finally,

"The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, ESV)"

Why make things any harder than they already are? Amen!
