What Steve Hogan said +1! The last thing the establishment wants is anyone to challenge their authority!

Flash, nice cut and paste job, again.

Where's Zara?

Roy, why would COG be of concern? They will have forever lost their legitimacy, and will be that for which the American Revolution was fought, a blight on a free society. It will be necessary to fight a 2nd American Revolution simply because the states lost the War of Northern Aggression, when all 50 states secede.

Obama has already laid out his war powers act, that private property rights no longer matters in a declared state of emergency, read "martial law".

However, we're reflecting upon education, and the winner of conflicts gets to write the history books.

I would submit a knowledge of God's Word is the highest education there is, and the enemy of God has been unable to defeat his word lo these many millennia. There's nothing to suggest he will succeed now, nor stop trying.

He literally has pulled out all the stops leading up to the turn of the 21st century. Again, with no indication he has given up, nor any expectation he will.

Education isn't knowing facts and figures, it's knowing right from wrong, and that is the last thing the spawns of hell in our federal bureaucracy want anyone knowing. Too f*g bad!

Re-elect whom you want— the un-elected zombies remain. - 4WD

Carter was the last POTUS to attempt to take on the feds. TPTB, the shadow government, third and fourth generation bureaucrats, will bring hell to bear at the slightest challenge. It's imperative that we elect libertarians in November 2014. The Dems and Repubs have failed to govern. We kicked the progressives out of control in North Carolina in 2012 and implemented lower taxes and less spending. The fight must be carried to the nation in 2014. Will the entrenched interests fight back? Then bring it on!

These are the entrenched interests in DC. The Mass Media only demonstrates what we all know, more cocaine is used in any one of NYC (Wall Street), DC (Feds and Pols), and Hollywood (Hollywood) than the combined consumption of the rest of the world.

It was somewhat interesting the anti-God messages contained in two otherwise decent movies we rented and watched recently, Killing Season (DeNiro, Travolta) and Star Trek Into Darkness.

These godless bureaucrats will shape America in their image, and the only ones standing in their way are you and I, and the love of God.

I'm convinced as we see our rights eroded under this and previous administrations, that it is only by the truth of God's word that we, man, will prevail in this world. Engineered events, including natural disasters since coinciding at the turn of the 21st century, are indicative of a super-natural enemy, and it is only be God's word that we who believe can hope to prevail. Droughts, rolling brown outs, Y2K, recessions, 9/11, GFC, Fukashima are all designed to steal, kill, and destroy God's word. The devil will not stop, there is no good in him, and those who serve him know not whom they serve, as he will destroy them as surely as he would destroy the remnant of God's people.

Have a blessed day and God be with you. Vote Tea Party in 2014!

TOWER OF BABEL: fact or fiction? « The Burning Platform

Stuck, I'm astounded by your disbelief of the truth. Why can't you just say, I don't believe God's word, and be done with it.

The bible wasn't written for those who don't believe.

You lost me at the first sentence. Of course the bible is not meant to be taken literally everywhere. It is meant to be taken literally where it is meant to be taken literally and figuratively where it is meant to be taken figuratively. You obviously have never heard of the idiom of permission, either.

If you don't know the difference, you have no business posting anything regarding the truth of god's word. You and Carl Sagan, too fucking smart for you're good.

The irony of it is, the tower of babel is a story about exactly what you've done, synthesize a theology based upon man's interpretation and understanding. Exactly what we're cautioned against, but since you don't believe God's word, neither are you bound by it. How fucking convenient.

"Oh, that I had one to hear me!
(Here is my signature! Let the Almighty answer me!)
Oh, that I had the indictment written by my adversary!" (Job 31:35, ESV)

You do yourself and those around you a disservice. May God save your soul.

LLPOH’s Update on What I See Happening « The Burning Platform

If a Dartmouth educated Native American MBA baby boomer can't make it, what possible chance do any of us have?

Yes, there a few who rise through the ranks to become C level execs, and I don't begrudge anyone their success. LL's business is privately held, thus he isn't beholden to the global oligarchy, which is why his company will fail. The oligarchy have solved the problems of succession.

North American can survive independently of the global economy. It appears the battle being wage, and lost, is control over the fruits of production. When the national GDP funnels into the hands of a few, wealth disparity continues to increase to levels not seen since the 1920's. Everyone wanted to get on the band wagon, investing in stocks.

It remains to be seen whether QE to infinity will be enough to offset the dampening effect of the ACA. Once again, as with medicare, socializing the risk and privatizing the profit. It's been a business model which has worked with spectacular success thus far, until it doesn't.

LL's manufacturing business is a cog in an increasingly irrelevant system. He'll live and die, having provided for his family to the nth generation. Same for MA. Don't know about Stuck, he's a sea anemone. Admin isn't doing to bad, having saved a phenomenal percentage of his wages over the years. You guys are the exception, maybe 20% at the most are ready for a long term decline in the economy, and it's most likely going to get worse before it better. A lot worse. Whether it rises to the level of the destruction of the social order remains to be seen, as well. Continuity of government has certainly been addressed.

Correct, the issue before the Senate Judiciary Committee and addressed in S. 987: Free Flow of Information Act of 2013 defines who is a journalist and whether they can be compelled to throw anyone under the bus, which is essentially unconstitutional as I understand the First Amendment.

Those whore mongers in CONUS must know more and better than I do. Likewise, the purpose of the USCON being to provide protection of the people from the state. It only stands to reason a fascist police state would seek to refine or otherwise restrict those protections.

The entire proposition is preposterous, and only further evidence the federal government is completely out of control, propped up solely by the USD. Enjoy the ride, reversion to the mean is a bitch, and every day brings us closer to a day of reckoning, postponed only being QE to infinity.

The world is poised at the precipice of destruction, and the dawn of a new day of truly free information. One can cast themselves into the void, sit and stare at it, or move away from the edge. CONUS has chosen to sit and stare, after all, why not, and has given us this shit stained piece of legislation which can only be surpassed in meaninglessness by renaming post offices.

Why not throw money at every problem in existence, when the government is merely printing it digitally and has rendered work product meaningless? I would rather they mint a $100T coin, pay off the debt, pass a balanced budget amendment, eliminate the income tax, and bring the troops home. That last part may not be realistic. If we weren't running clandestine operations, the enemy would. It may also not be realistic to eliminate the income tax, however, the least the feds can do is hold those accountable who do harm, and even prevent it. Instead, we have a culture brought to us by those who would anoint themselves master, and who would tell us who is afforded constitutional rights, and who isn't.

I, too, will stand with Admin in the Halls of Anarchy. May God have mercy on our souls.

The Most Important Preparation You Can Make, by T.M.

Mr. Rawles,

Thank you for publishing T.M.'s letter. I agree with it's contents one hundred percent, with one exception. T.M. states,

"I do believe God manifested in flesh, came to Earth, lived a perfect life, died on the cross, and rose from the dead in order to make your salvation possible."

The first chapter of the Book of John in the Gospels says,

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1, ESV)

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14, ESV)

Clearly, the author, God, is speaking of his Son, when he says "the Word became flesh". It's an important distinction that Jesus is the Word made flesh. The greek word for "word" is logos, and it means the thoughts or ideas conveyed by the words expressed. The principle is that the Word makes known Jesus, who makes known the Father, and it is how we come to know God.

Chapter one of John is used to support the doctrine of the Trinity, which is a word that is not even used in scripture. It came about in the 3rd century as a compromise between paganism and Christianity, and it is where we get Sunday worship, the worship of the Sun god, Christmas at the Winter solstice, instead of September 11, 3 BC which is when there was a conjunction of 5 planets and is the sign the academic descendants of Joseph saw in Egypt and began their journey to Bethlehem, and Easter fertility rites, bunnies laying eggs.

Whether or not one believes or professes the doctrine of the trinity is not the purpose of my letter. It is simply to point out that we cannot change God's word, for it to still be God's word. I completely agree with the sentiment expressed by T.M. A belief and knowledge of God's Word is the most important preparation we can make in our lives, and even more so that we have an accurate understanding of his Word.

"knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation." (2 Peter 1:20, ESV)

You have my permission to edit and publish my reply as you see fit, and I ask that you forward my reply to T.M. along with my e-mail address. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for the global community.

Argh, I want 5 mins of my life back. Liked calamity's response.

Education has to do with what are societies values. I laughed at someone's comment about inflation, and to think the feds have been "printing" money, borrowing and spending, in earnest since the Reagan Administration thirty years ago.

Nixon took us off the gold standard completely in 1972. Carter took office, and the feds took down the country, rather than allow the federal bureaucracy to be bridled. Granted, there was some external help from OPEC and Iran.

Education in this country, or Singapore, or anywhere else isn't the problem. The strangle hold of the global rent seeking oligarchy on the world's reserve currency is the problem, and the lack of jobs. We're all just useless breathers to the oligarchy.

The Devil is the god of this world (II Cor 4:4), and the only solution to fighting the enemy is with the truth of God's Word. Jesus Christ exposed the kingdom of the adversary, casting out demons and healing the sick. Before Christ, Israelis were required to obey the law to maintain spiritual cleanliness. With the advent of Christ and the day of Pentecost, we have the spirit of God in Christ in us, and everything Christ did, we can do and greater (Jn 14:12).

The dark ages succeeded the earthly reign of Christ after several hundred years and the fall of Rome, and indeed the light was gone out of the world. Christianity as practiced by all the major denominations today is a shell of the first century church, there is no difference in doctrine between any of them, primarily the doctrine of the trinity.

There are powerful and nefarious forces at work in the world, and it is only by the word of God, and our belief and principle in upholding his Word, that we might endure, conquer, and overcome. If not as a society, then individually.

Education is what you put into it. When money means nothing, when you can just conjure it out of thin air, it's hard to put any value on anything except the truth of God's Word.
