OSU jihadi Abdul Artan: “I’m a Muslim, it’s not what the media portrays me to be”
To understand liberal progressive Islamist sympathizers, consider how is it that they are able to reconcile everything they say they believe, the dignity of human life, etc., with the diametrically opposite tenets of Islam. The only explanation which clearly captures this rationale, is that liberal progressives hate God.
This bright line gives perspective to the global problem of Islam, and identifies the true motives of those who would otherwise seemingly be appalled at the motives and methods of the Islamist world in expanding their faith. Everywhere Muslims exist, they are in conflict with their neighbors, and those who would identify with their cause can only hate God.
While this doesn't mean that all who practice Islam hate God, neither do all liberal progressives hate God, but it's impossible that one can sympathize with cause of Islam, and not hate him. It's also possible to be deceived, but there's little distinguishable difference between being deceived and hating God, it's still treason.
"God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." (1 John 1:5b ESV)
